Indigenous Insomniac


Countless hours spent
Gazing the conjuring grey skies
The wind-up clocks ticking
Yet the time ceases to go by
Red blood eyes, ripped open wide
Welcoming every rising sun
Unbidding the nights goodbye
Brinks of relent, cause it won't go
Obnoxious tantrums, it fervent throws
Rebellious in it's own way
Likes to put on a show
Under the darks, resounding hollow
Deafening my ears
With muted whispers
Gentle cold winds
Burning me like blisters
Haunting with hallucinations
Of a pale jaded past
Stifling my thoughts
Rendering breathless aghast
Sledge hammers knock
Off the walls of a hijacked head
Anxious beats pulsate in heart
Throbbing between the sheets on bed
Brandishing an unseen sycthe
Donning a mirage laden cloak
Claws clutching my frail soul
Suffocating me, a colossal choke

So before you devour me
And feed of my helpless agony
I just crave for some ' Sleep '
If god would bless me with any...
